Write to one council member

The 2027 city budget has its second and final reading on 1 October. Ask that no money be granted for the site until three things have been investigated. This is not a demand to drop the project. It is a demand to investigate before granting money.

The letter is in Danish. That is deliberate. A letter in Danish to a Danish politician gets read. Everything below explains what the letter says, so you can change it with your eyes open. You do not need to be a Danish citizen to write: anyone living in the Municipality of Copenhagen can. Write to one person, not to all of them. Six identical emails in the same inbox produce zero replies.

Put your name at the bottom, and do write why the place matters to you. That is the part a politician actually reads. Do not send the text as it stands. If your Danish is uncertain, write that paragraph in English: it is better than a sentence you do not mean.

Two mayors have no published email address. Jakob Næsager, Det Konservative Folkeparti / Jens-Kristian Lütken, Venstre. They are therefore not on any list here. Five of the mayors' addresses also go to the mayoral office, not to the person: writing to overborgmester@kk.dk is writing to the office.
